Patrice Bergeron scores goal for Boston in Game 1 win

by Peter Gustavson | Bruins Correspondent | Fri, May 10th 10:12am EDT

Patrice Bergeron scored a third period goal on Thursday to propel Boston to a 5-2 win over Carolina. Bergeron’s score ultimately proved to be the game winner. He added four shots-on-goal for the contest.

Fantasy Impact:

Bergeron has not found the scoresheet as regularly as many would hope recently, recording only four points in his last seven playoff games. Nevertheless, Bergeron’s goal Thursday proved timely, and his contributions typically go far beyond the box score, as he possesses one of the most polished two-way games in the NHL.
