Marcus Johansson with two assists for Bruins Sunday

Marcus Johannsson assisted on Matt Grzelcyk and Connor Clifton goals during Boston’s 6-2 victory over Carolina in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals. Johansson has three goals and six assists in 13 playoff games to date.

Fantasy Impact:

Meager production coupled with missing a chunk of time due to injury had many previously questioning Boston’s deadline acquisition of Johansson. The trade is now paying handsome dividends during the Bruins’ playoff run though, as the 28-year-old Swede has really started to come alive with four points in his past two games. Johansson will continue to be relied upon for secondary scoring moving forward as Boston looks to make a return to the Stanley Cup Finals.
