Mike Smith signs with Oilers for one year

Mike Smith has signed a one-year $2 million contract with the Edmonton Oilers Monday. (Stephen Whyno on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
In 2018-19 with the Calgary Flames, Smith possessed a 23-16-2 record, 2.72 GAA, and 0.898 SV% through 42 games played. He is currently 37-years old and is in the final years of his career. Ideally, the Oilers plan to use Smith as a backup option to Mikko Koskinen during the 2019-20 season.
