Artemi Panarin with two points in Rangers' debut versus Jets

by Matthew Catalano | Rangers Correspondent | Fri, Oct 4th 5:31pm EDT

Newly acquired forward Artemi Panarin scored a goal and provided an assist during New York's 6-4 win over the Winnipeg Jets Thursday.

Fantasy Impact:

It did not take long for the ex-Blue Jacket to get going with his new squad. He wound up breaking through with his first goal as a New York Ranger just 27 seconds into the second period to give his team a 2-1 lead on the power play. He later dished out his first ever assist as a Blueshirt to Jacob Trouba almost six minutes later. He's off to a fast start which is great for a Rangers squad that struggled to score goals last season as they were the third-worst overall in the Eastern Conference for 2018.
