Patrik Laine scored his first goal of the season in the Winnipeg Jets 4-1 loss to the New York Islanders on Sunday night. Laine also had 1 assist in each of the first two games of the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Patrik Laine will continue to post up at the top of the left circle on the Jets top powerplay unit and boasts one of the best shots on the planet. For that reason alone he must be owned and started in all formats. Laine also saw time alongside Blake Wheeler and Mark Scheifele on the Jets top line on Sunday. If that continues going forward his fantasy stock would most certainly rise.
