Kyle Connor scores on the powerplay

by Tyler Feeleus | Jets Correspondent | Wed, Oct 16th 10:22am EDT

Kyle Connor scored a beautiful backhand goal on the powerplay in the Winnipeg Jets 4-2 loss to the Arizona Coyotes last night. Connor finished the game with with 1 goal, 2 SOG and a -2 rating in 22:42 of ice time.

Fantasy Impact:

Kyle Connor is up to 3 goals and 1 assist through 8 games played. Connor is off to a slower start than what we're accustomed to with him but it should be noted that he did miss all of training camp without a contract, and has played the whole season on the Jets second line rather than the first line as we have seen in previous years. Better days are ahead for Connor as he is still a staple on the Jets top powerplay unit and has a major role in the top six.
