Tyson Jost records hat-trick

by Jeremy Farr | Sabres Correspondent | Mon, Oct 21st 6:40pm EDT

Tyson Jost was the first Avalanche player this season to get three in one game. He lifted the visiting team to a convincing 6-2 road win against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday. He finished the game with three points, a plus-2 rating, three shots and two hits.

Fantasy Impact:

Jost's first goal came from Girard who was looking at J.T. Compher wound up for a one-timer, but sent it the other way and was put in the top shelf. The second was little wrister back up top, again. The third was a narrow 2 on 1 and was able to squeeze a low one in the cage. Jost, Wilson and Compher appear to be gelling right now and finding ways to be successful. If this continues, Jost may become a fantasy-useful C. He does carry a career 36.6% however and needs to show that this is his year after Colorado drafted him 10th overall in 2016.
