Pierre-Edouard Bellemare went right to work against his former team by scoring on his first shift and lighting the lamp for the Avs in a 6-1 victory over the Golden Knights. He finished the game with a goal, two assists, a plus-3 rating, four shots and two blocks.

Fantasy Impact:

Coach Bednar usually rolls out his top line on the first shift of the game but not in this one. Bellemare took a pass then made a nifty deke to the inside and got into shooting position. He wristed it passed Theo Fleury and scored the first of six on the evening. He's up to three goals and three assists on the season.
