Kasperi Kapanen records two points against Flyers

by Brendan Ballantyne | Blues Correspondent | Sun, Nov 3rd 9:36am EST

Kasperi Kapanen got the offense going on Saturday night during Toronto's 4-3 shootout win in Philadelphia. The speedster had a goal, an assist, two penalty minutes, a shot and a hit in 14:51 of ice-time.

Fantasy Impact:

The 23-year-old has been a bit unpredictable so far this season. Saturday's game in Philadephia was his third multi-point game of the season, but he's only managed to record a point in six of the Leafs' 15 games this year. While Kapanen has shown the skill to produce offensively, Mike Babcock has him on the third line and as one of his go-to penalty killers. His ice-time is decent and consistent in this role, but his offensive production is harder to predict as a result. He has 10 points (four goals, six assists) and is averaging 16:46 of ice-time so far this year.
