Frederik Andersen survives 11-round shootout for win over Flyers

by Brendan Ballantyne | Hurricanes Correspondent | Sun, Nov 3rd 9:57am EST

Frederik Andersen stood tall, stopping 37 of 40 shots thrown his way on the road in Philadelphia. He then turned away 10 of 11 shootout attempts by the Flyers, which eventually earned him a 4-3 win.

Fantasy Impact:

Andersen may have dressed up as Ed Sheeran for Halloween, but there's no question he was back to himself on Saturday night. The starter was strong and just what the Leafs needed as they were outshot 35-14 after the first period. Freddie has improved his record to 7-2-2 and his save percentage (.904) and goals against average (3.00) are starting to creep their way in the right direction. He's 5-0-2 in his last seven, keep him rolling.
