John Tavares returns from injury against the Kings

by Brendan Ballantyne | Maple Leafs Correspondent | Tue, Nov 5th 10:10pm EST

John Tavares returned to the ice on Tuesday night following a seven-game absence due to a finger injury. He centred a line between Trevor Moore and Mitch Marner and contributed two shots and two blocks in 18 minutes during the Leafs' 3-1 win over the Kings.

Fantasy Impact:

The Maple Leafs and fantasy owners alike will certainly be happy to see Tavares back. The captain had produced seven points through his first eight games prior to his injury, so hopefully he'll hit his stride again soon. Tavares has averaged over 18 minutes of ice-time all season and is a fixture on Toronto's top power-play unit. You're free to deploy him again as usual.
