Nathan Mackinnon tucks the Canucks into bed

by Jeremy Farr | Avalanche Correspondent | Sun, Nov 17th 12:58am EST

Nathan Mackinnon scored the overtime, game winning goal on Saturday night, icing the the home team 5-4. He finished the game with two goals, one assist, a plus-1 rating, four shots and one hit.

Fantasy Impact:

Nathan Mackinnon played the hero in this one, deciding to end the game 27 seconds into overtime with a stream-line wrist shot right through Thatcher Demko. You can see him find his opening just after he skates through center, hits the gas, and burns Canucks winger J.T. Miller. He was clearly amped up after his teammate Matt Calvert took a wrist shot off the head and was down on the ice bleeding during an empty-net situation for the Canucks which they scored to make it 4-3. Brock Boeser made it 4-4 not to long after that. With a big win on the road, Mackinnon is up to 13 goals and 29 points. The stud fantasy center continues to roll.
