Samuel Girard gets an assist

Samuel Girard registered one point on Monday helping the Avalanche defeat the Vegas Golden Knights 7-3. He finished the game with one point, a minus-1 rating, one hit and one block.
Fantasy Impact:
Girard hasn't been the fantasy gem that owners were hoping for after the Avalanche invested in their d-man with a nice, seven year contract. He has one goal and 14 points so far this year and doesn't really contribute in the hits or blocks department either. He's worth keeping an eye on but he's not a startable defenseman at this point.
