Cale Makar scored the second goal of game in Colorado's 4-0 home win over the San Jose Sharks. He finished the game with one goal, a plus-1 rating, four shots and one hit through 19:46 of ice time.

Fantasy Impact:

In the dying seconds of the period, Makar received the puck at the blue line and went into a lateral drift, waiting for a lane to open up. He found one and let a wrist shot go that found it's way past Martin Jones' shoulder and into the top corner. That gives the Avalanche rookie ten on the season with 24 assists and a plus-5 rating. He's also racked up 15 points on the power play. He is a solid option for fantasy defensive corps.
