Kadri one goal shy of the hat trick

Nazem Kadri buried a pair of goals in Colorado's 7-1 drubbing of the Arizona Coyotes on Monday. He tallied a great line registering two goals, an assist, a plus-1 rating, three shots and one hit.

Fantasy Impact:

Kadri's goals both came on the powerplay so he didn't see his plus/minus go up and he was right where he needed for both of them. The first was a clapper taken from Mikko Rantanen that was turned aside but trickled out to Landeskog, then Kadri, and in. The second was pretty much all Nathan Mackinnon and Kadri came in to see the puck through the back of the net. He's been very effective for the Avalanche since being acquired from Toronto. He's scoring goals, winning face offs and adding to the grit they'll need to take on stiffer competition. He has four goals and nine points in the 2020 playoffs.
