Joe Pavelski scores 800th career point

Joe Pavelski had an assist during the Stars' 2-1 overtime win versus Detroit. The point was the 800th of his career (372 goals, 428 assists) in 1,033 career games.
Fantasy Impact:
Dallas has only played in three games, but Pavelski is off to a fast start with three goals and five assists. In his second season with Dallas, he is clearly more comfortable with the team after spending his first 13 seasons with San Jose. Last year he posted 31 points (14 goals, 17 assists) in 67 games played but was terrific in the playoffs with 13 goals and six assists during the Stars' run to the Stanley Cup Finals.
