Saad nets a pair in Avalanche win

Brandon Saad scored twice in Colorado's 7-3 victory over the visiting San Jose Sharks on Tuesday. He finished the game with two points, a plus one rating, two PIM's and three shots.

Fantasy Impact:

Saad's first goal came while he was camped out in front of the net while all eyes were on Makar, he made a one-two deke and slid it past Martin Jones. The second came on a tic-tac-toe where he was well positioned to fire a one-timer. That's number two and three for Saad. The Avalanche will want this to carry on after they acquired him from Chicago. He's up to three points (all goals) so far this season but isn't really producing anywhere else on the fantasy radar. Goal, assist and PPP upside is there but he isn't hitting or blocking shots and is currently -7.
