Alexis Lafreniere scores first NHL goal

Alexis Lafreniere the NHL's first-overall pick by the New York Rangers scored his first NHL goal in overtime of a 3-2 win versus Buffalo.
Fantasy Impact:
The goal was the rookie's first point of the season in seven games played. He has been shuffled between different line combinations by head coach David Quinn in an attempt to shake up the struggling Rangers who are now 2-4-1 on the season. Lafreniere will go through his rookie growing pains this season, and even though he is talented and has a promising future, makes it difficult to depend on during a shortened fantasy season.
