Avalanche tame the Wild on Monday

Nathan Mackinnon got the opening goal in what turned into a 5-4 win. He tallied a goal, two points, a plus-2 rating and two shots.
Fantasy Impact:
Mackinnon put his speed on display on this one as he took a beautiful feed from Sam Girard right up the middle. He was already in stride and left all the defenders behind him, then fired one over the glove hand of Cam Talbot for his 14th of the season. He has collected nine points in his last five games and is showing no signs of slowing down.
