Burakovsky steps up in Avalanche victory

Andre Burakovsky fired in a pair of goals for Colorado in their playoff-clinching 4-2 road win over the St. Louis Blues on Thursday. His final stat line was two points, a plus-1 rating, three shots, two hits and one block through 17:17.

Fantasy Impact:

Burakovsky's first goal came on the powerplay as the Avalanche were pressuring the Blues in their zone. Cale Makar had a shot from the point miss the net just wide but bounced right off the back boards to him while planted in front of the net and cleaned up the trash. His second wasn't the hardest either as St. Louis fumbled the puck in their end only to see Nathan Mackinnon flying in to collect the puck and draw not one, not two, but three defenders. He immediately fed Gabriel Landeskog who relayed over to Burakovsky for the one timer and put it home. He's now up to 14 goals and 29 points on the season. If you have roster space available he's someone that can help fantasy managers in the playoffs, even if just to stream.
