Roope Hintz scored three goals against the Hurricanes Tuesday. It was his first career hat trick. The Stars won 4-1.

Hintz is the first Star to reach double-digit goals this season. He's up to 15 points (10 goals, 5 assists), which is a disappointing total through 20 games, but the young forward has scoring potential and he seems to be heating up. This hat trick may have closed his buy-low window.
