Two assists for Sam Girard in New York

Sam Girard recorded a pair of assists in Colorado's 7-3 victory over the Rangers on Wednesday. His stat line included two points, a plus-1 rating, two PIMs, one shot and one block.
Fantasy Impact:
That's four assists for Girard in his last four games. He gets time on the power play and the Avalanche have netted 23 goals in their past four games. That obviously isn't a sustainable pace but Colorado can score and a top-4 defenseman in that system will thrive for fantasy owners. Despite his size he can still help out with hits as well. Colorado returns home to host Detroit on December 10th.
