Alex Newhook chipped in a goal for the Avalanche helping lift them to a 6-4 win over the Chicago Blackhawks. He tallied a goal, an even-rating, four shots and three hits.
Fantasy Impact:
The Avs rookie was making an effort to the net and got into a one-shot-hack battle with Chicago goalie Marc Andre Fleury. Newhook hit the puck before Fleury did and it went in for the fourth goal in the game. Newhook is fitting in very well with his new team and can be considered for deeper redraft leagues. He shouldn't be available in dynasty but if is. Pick him up.
