Hurricanes defenseman Tony DeAngelo scored one goal and added one assist for two points in the Hurricanes’ 4-3 overtime loss to the Maple Leafs.

DeAngelo recorded points for just the second time in his last five games for the Hurricanes, scoring one goal and adding two assists for a 0.60 point per game average in that span. The veteran defenseman has eight goals and 27 assists for a modest 0.97 point per game average from the blueline on one of the top teams in the NHL currently.
