Alex Newhook strikes first on Thursday

Alex Newhook opened the scoring in Colorado's 4-2 win over the visiting San Jose Sharks. He finished the game with a goal, a minus-1 rating and three shots.
Fantasy Impact:
Newhook scored the first of four Colorado needed to down the Sharks. He was fading back to the point when Macdermit spotted him. He let go a one timer from deep and it made it through for his 12th goal of the year.
