Karel Vejmelka gets 3-2 win in overtime

by Sean Varin | Coyotes Correspondent | Mon, Apr 4th 1:35am EDT

The goalkeeper was very solid outside of the first goal he surrendered in the game, just 1:15 into play to Dylan Strome. Vejmelka shutdown the Blackhawks offense for the next 34-minutes of play until Patrick Kane found the equalizer on a power-play goal to send the game to overtime, but the Coyotes prevailed on a Shayne Gostisbehere goal 4:45 into the overtime period to send the team off with a 3-2 road win.

Fantasy Impact:

Vejmelka stopped 29-of-31 shots-on-goal for a .935 save-percentage. The goalkeeper picked up the overtime win with just 0:15 left to play. Next up for the Coyotes will be a road matchup with the St. Louis Blues, who are just 6-9 since the start of March.
