Jeremy Swayman gives up three goals in two periods of play

by Sean Varin | Bruins Correspondent | Thu, Apr 14th 11:41pm EDT

Linus Ullmark started and was great throughout the first period of play, stopping all eight shots he faced. Unfortunately, he took a shot off of his face mask and did not return to the game after the first intermission. The Bruins were up 2-0 after period one, but Jeremy Swayman replaced the goalkeeper and surrendered three goals in a span of ten minutes in the second period to put the team down 3-2. Swayman settled down in period three making some big saves to keep within one, but the offense couldn’t find the equalizer.

Fantasy Impact:

The goalie stopped 21-of-24 shots-on-goal after replacing Ullmark. Swayman moves to 20-12-3 with a .915 save-percentage and 2.38 goals-against-average for the season.
