Forsberg scored the first goal of the game at the 7:23 mark of period two on assists by Ryan Johansen (36) and Roman Josi (69) to give the Predators a 1-0 lead in what would be a three goal period. Matt Duchene added his 33rd goal of the year on a power-play about five minutes later to put the team up 2-0 before the Flames answered back at the 15:13 mark of the period. Calgary found the equalizer in period three and Nashville pulled it out in shootout thanks to Mikael Granlund for a 3-2 win.
Forsberg moves to 39 goals and now has 76 points in 64 games-played. The winger added two hits, one block and five shots-on-goal in 20:32 of ice time.
