Casey DeSmith allows four goals in Saturday's loss to Maple Leafs
by Chris Schommer | Canucks Correspondent | Sun, Nov 27th 1:04pm EST
Casey DeSmith struggled in the crease for the Penguins Saturday night, allowing four goals on 41 shots faced in a 4-1 loss to the Maple Leafs.
Fantasy Impact:
DeSmith has struggled of late in net operating as the backup goaltender for the Penguins, allowing three or more goals in each of his last three starts (1-2-0). The 31-year-old should only be seen as a streaming option on nights No. 1 netminder Tristan Jarry needs a rest, posting a 3.00 GAA and .908 save percentage in nine starts (3-5-1) so far this season.
