Ilya Samsonov was strong in net for the Maple Leafs Thursday night, stopping 37 of 38 shots faced in a 4-1 win over the Jets.

Samsonov has been strong between the pipes for Toronto of late, allowing three goals or less in four of his last five starts (3-2-0, .928 save percentage). The 25-year-old netminder has made the most of his role alongside fellow goaltender Matt Murray in Toronto, posting a .920 save percentage and 2.18 GAA in 19 starts (14-4-1) in the crease so far this season.
