Ilya Sorokin struggled in net for the Islanders Monday night, allowing five goals on 39 shots faced in a 5-2 loss to the Maple Leafs.
Fantasy Impact:
Sorokin has struggled in the crease of late for the Islanders, allowing three or more goals in four of his last five starts (1-2-2, .898 save percentage) for the club. The 27-year-old netminder also has not benefited from playing behind one of the most inconsistent offensive attacks in the league to this point, posting a 2.44 GAA and .922 save percentage in 37 appearances (15-16-4) between the pipes so far this season.
