Ilya Samsonov was solid between the pipes for the Maple Leafs Monday night, stopping 31 of 33 shots faced in a 5-2 win over the Islanders.

Fantasy Impact:

Samsonov has been mostly steady in net of late for the Maple Leafs, allowing three goals or less in each of his last six starts (4-1-1, .945 save percentage) for the club. The 25-year-old netminder has been a surprisingly strong option for fantasy owners to this point, carrying a 2.21 GAA and .920 save percentage in 21 starts (15-4-2) in the crease so far this season.
