Alexandar Georgiev was strong in net for the Avalanche Saturday, stopping 26 of 28 shots faced in a 4-2 win over the Blues.
Fantasy Impact:
Georgiev has been stellar in the crease of late for the Avalanche, allowing three goals or less in seven of his last eight starts (5-3-0, .933 save percentage) for the club. The 26-year-old netminder continues to reward the Colorado front office's decision to let Stanley Cup-winning goaltender Darcy Kuemper to leave in the offseason, posting a 2.60 GAA and .919 save percentage in 34 starts (20-11-3) so far this season.
