Alexandar Georgiev struggled in the crease for the Avalanche Thursday night, allowing five goals on 32 shots faced in a 5-0 loss to the Lightning.
Fantasy Impact:
Georgiev has been strong in net of late for the Avalanche, allowing less than three goals or less in four of his last five starts (4-1-0, .932 save percentage) for the club. The 27-year-old netminder finally seems to be comfortable between the pipes for fantasy owners, posting a 2.67 GAA and .917 save percentage in 35 starts (20-12-3) so far this season.
