Wayne Simmonds finds the back of the net versus the Devils

Philadelphia Flyers RW Wayne Simmonds scored his second goal of the preseason on Wednesday night, beating New Jersey goalie Keith Kincaid on the power play. Fellow Flyers Claude Giroux and Michael Del Zotto got the assists on Simmonds' goal as the Devils defeated the Flyers by a score of 4-2. (ESPN)
Fantasy Impact:
Simmonds racked up 28 goals a year ago, and is a key part of the Flyers attack. Giroux and Del Zotto getting on the stat sheet is a good sign as well, as all of Philadelphia's key contributors will need to be consistently productive if the Flyers plan on contending this season. With the Flyers breaking in a new coach, having their best players play up to their capabilities from day one would go a long way towards lifting the team through growing pains and adjustments.
