Claude Giroux produces zero points against Tampa Bay

by Julius Bzozowski | Flyers Correspondent | Fri, Oct 9th 1:05am EDT

Philadelphia Flyers C Claude Giroux recorded zero goals and zero assists Thursday night in Tampa, as the Flyers lost to the Lightning by a score of 3-2 in overtime. Giroux also had a -1 +/- rating for the night. (ESPN)

Fantasy Impact:

Giroux had 73 points a season ago, so there more than likely will not be many games with zero points. Giroux had three shots on goal and three shots miss the net, so at least he is getting chances. He blew a golden chance in the first period, as he was awarded a penalty shot after being hooked on a breakaway. However, he could not convert. The Flyers next game is on Saturday on the road versus the Florida Panthers.
