Seth Jones earns third star in season opener

Predators Defenseman Seth Jones had two assists in a 2-1 victory over the Hurricanes. He earned third star recognition for his performance in the home opener.
Fantasy Impact:
Seth Jones has been somewhat inconsistent in his first two seasons after being selected third overall in the 2013 draft. Yet, no one can question his talent especially with his offensive skills. He had a hot start to this season with an assist on both goals scored by the Preds. Jones could be primed for a breakout season. He should be on the fantasy radar now, and if he continues to perform well he will be a top waiver wire candidate.
