Philadelphia Flyers C Claude Giroux netted his first goal of the season on Wednesday night, as the Flyers defeated the visiting Blackhawks by a score of 3-0. (ESPN)

Fantasy Impact:

After scoring his first point of the season on Saturday via assist, the Flyers captain got his first goal in Philadelphia's fourth game of the season on Wednesday. The Flyers have won two straight after losing in overtime versus Tampa Bay last Thursday and getting blown out by the Panthers on Saturday. It is very encouraging to see the Flyers put three pucks past a goalie like Corey Crawford, and the Flyers will need Giroux to be big this season if they have any playoff aspirations.
