Tampa Bay Lightning C Steven Stamkos lit the lamp with a second-period power play goal, but it was not enough as the Lightning could not hold multiple leads against the Predators. Nashville forced overtime, then won the shootout to take home the shootout win by a score of 5-4. (NHL.com)

Fantasy Impact:

Stamkos now has five goals on the season, and that is good for second in the entire league. It is a good thing he is scoring goals, because he is producing assists at an alarming rate. He only has one on the season so far, and will have to pick that up as the season goes along. While he has been a one-trick pony so far, there are a couple of silver linings. Two of Stamkos' five goals have come on the power play, and he is plus-three in terms of plus/minus this season.
