Steven Stamkos gets shut down by Chicago

by Julius Bzozowski | Lightning Correspondent | Sat, Oct 24th 11:24pm EDT

Tampa Bay Lightning C Steven Stamkos was held without a point on Saturday night, as the Lightning fell to the Chicago Blackhawks by a score of 1-0 in overtime. This was a rematch of last year's Stanley Cup Finals. (NHL.com)

Fantasy Impact:

Stamkos' two-game point streak was snapped by Chicago G Corey Crawford, but he still has five points in his last five games. The Bolts played and went into overtime on Friday night as well, so perhaps there was some fatigue in the second game of the back-to-back. Stamkos and Co. will try to get back on track on Tuesday when they travel to play the St. Louis Blues.
