Ben Bishop takes a tough loss as the Lightning get shutout

by Julius Bzozowski | Stars Correspondent | Wed, Oct 28th 10:25am EDT

Tampa Bay G Ben Bishop surrendered only one goal on Tuesday night versus the St. Louis Blues, but his team got shutout by St. Louis G Jake Allen. Tampa Bay lost the game 2-0. (NHL.com)

Fantasy Impact:

The second goal came on an empty netter by Troy Brouwer, so that was not on Bishop. Bishop kept his team in the game by stopping 22 of the 23 shots he faced, but his team did him no favors offensively or defensively. This is the second straight game the Bolts have been shutout. Bishop also had to deal with the fact that Tampa Bay committed three penalties in the game. St. Louis, in comparison, was only short-handed once.
