Alex Ovechkin was able to light the lamp for the Capitals Wednesday night, scoring one goal in a 6-1 win over the Blues.

Ovechkin has fought consistency issues in the offensive zone of late, picking up points in four of his last nine games (three goals, three assists) for the Capitals. The 40-year-old has opened the season as one of many inconsistent offensive options for head coach Spencer Carberry in the Washington lineup.
