Garret Sparks stopped all 24 Oilers shots to win 3-0 in his NHL debut Monday night for the Maple Leafs, earning the First Star of the game.
Fantasy Impact:
It was an emotional start to Sparks' career, as the 22-year old was moved to tears in his post-game interview when he was told he was the only Maple Leafs goalie to record shutout in his NHL debut. Sparks was called up to Toronto to replace the injured James Reimer.
