Braden Holtby took the first star on Monday night with 44 saves against 45 shots on goal. Holtby was dynamite in the second period, stopping a quick series of shots.
Fantasy Impact:
Holtby leads the league in wins (19) and GAA (1.87). This was the first time under coach Barry Trotz that Holtby has faced more than forty shots on goal. You have to wonder about the Caps' defense just a little.
