Connor McDavid out through All-Star break

Connor McDavid's broken left clavicle will keep him out through the All-Star break, the Oilers have announced. McDavid has been out due to the injury since Nov. 3. The team continues to say that it has no precise timeframe for McDavid's return. (ESPN)
Fantasy Impact:
It looks like the Oilers are going to continue to play it safe with their young star. It doesn't appear they'll have much to play for this season, which could further increase their cautiousness with McDavid. McDavid proved to be a valuable fantasy commodity prior to the injury, scoring 12 points in 13 games. However, it's not clear when or if he'll be back this season.
