Artemi Panarin is red hot after breaking out of slump

by Jake Perper | Rangers Correspondent | Sun, Apr 3rd 3:39pm EDT

On Sunday, Blackhawks rookie LW Artemi Panarin added a goal while tying his career-high in assists with three as Chicago upended Boston 6-4.

Fantasy Impact:

Panarin now has three goals and five assists in his last two games. Yeah, you read that right. By comparison, he had just three goals and four assists in the entire month of March. Panarin now has 28 goals and 44 assists (72 points) on the season tying Patrick Kane's rookie team record from 2007-08. Panarin brings endless energy to this team. With the departure of Brandon Saad this off-season, he has come in and been even better and much craftier as a passer and special teamer. This kid is well on his way to stardom.
