Chris Stewart returns to Minnesota Wild
by Roy Widrig | Tue, Jul 5th 9:06am EDT
Chris Stewart re-signed with the Minnesota Wild for a two-year, $2.3 million contract. Stewart was originally acquired by the Wild at the 2014-15 trade deadline and played 2015-16 with the Anaheim Ducks.
Fantasy Impact:
Stewart will play most of his time on the fourth line and penalty kill, so chances are he will not have much fantasy value going forward. Over 519 career NHL games, Stewart has 137 goals and 147 assists, but owns and ugly minus-43. He's seven years removed from his best season in which he had 28 goals and 36 assists with the Colorado Avalanche.
