Patrik Laine scores in NHL debut

Laine had a goal and an assist in the Jets 5-4 overtime win versus Carolina. He had two shots in 18:27 of ice time in his first regular season NHL game.
Fantasy Impact:
The second overall pick in the NHL entry draft looked comfortable and was a big contributor in the Jets comeback from a 4-1 deficit in the third period. While comparisons to number one pick Auston Matthews will follow Laine his whole career, he is well on his way to a big career and should help plenty of fantasy teams this season and beyond.
