Rory McIlroy wins RBC Canadian Open with a sensational Sunday

by Nic Turner | Sun, Jun 9th 7:28pm EDT

Rory McIlroy shot a nine-under 61 on Sunday en-route to winning the RBC Canadian Open. Rory finished at 22-under for the tournament and it marks his first ever win in Canada.

Fantasy Impact:

Rory was simply remarkable on Sunday, recording nine birdies and an eagle to match his personal best score of 61. McIlroy led the field in Strokes Gained: Tee to Green (+3.51) and putting very well gaining 1.46 strokes on the field. This was a great bounceback after not making the cut at Memorial. He will look to continue his strong play at the US Open at Pebble Beach this week.
