Justin Rose finishes T-3 at U.S. Open

by Travis Finkel | Mon, Jun 17th 11:46am EDT

Justin Rose vied for a U.S. Open title at Pebble Beach this past week, finishing in a tie for third at seven-under-par. Rose was in the final group on Sunday paired with eventual winner, Gary Woodland, but shot a three-over-par round of 74 to fall back out of striking distance.

Fantasy Impact:

Justin Rose was the leader at seven-under-par through 36 holes thanks to his outstanding scrambling performance after hitting just 19 of 36 greens but was unable to keep the magic going on Sunday when he made three bogeys on the back nine to slide back to a tie for a third place. Rose currently sits in ninth place in the 2019 FedExCup rankings and will likely be an expensive option for the Open Championship in DFS play given strong Major play over the years.
